Just imagine how difficult arthritis or shortness of breath from heart disease makes the life of an elderly person.  It is a struggle to just get out of bed and dressed.  Now imagine how many elderly people in our community go without the help they need to stay at home.  As a caring community family let’s say it does not have to be this way. 

Without a doubt you can make a difference in the life of someone who truly needs your help.  Please help us to care for these people and provide the simple essentials of daily life: things that make life better so they can live a life of dignity and comfort in the safety of their home.

KEEPER:
  The Keeper’s generosity helps us provide the critical care to keep one person at home, which helps to reduce their anxiety about an uncertain future - $500
GUARDIAN:
  The Guardian provides financial support for a person to maintain a healthy, clean home, which increases peace of mind and guard against eviction – $250
COMPANION:
  As a Companion you provide the financial support for us to help one person with their essential personal needs to improve their health, comfort and quality of life - $100
PARTNER:
  The Partner will give a hand to protect a disadvantaged frail elderly person’s dignity by helping them pay for needed care and companionship lessen the struggle with the affects of loneliness - $75

Visiting Homemaker Service is a non-profit IRS 501 C 3 registered New Jersey charity.  Information concerning this charitable registration may be obtained from the NJ Attorney General’s office by calling (973) 504-6215, and this registration does not imply an endorsement.  We are required to inform you about the amount of the contribution that is deductible for federal income tax purposes.  As such, if you received no good or services for your donation the full amount is tax deductable.  If your received any goods or services for your donation the contribution that is deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of any money (and the value of any property other than money) contributed by you over the value of goods or services you received.  VHS will provide you with the value of any goods or services offered to you for your donation.
